Mitochondrial Support Protocol Using Mitochondrial Wellness Repair (Carnosine Complex)
Share
Why Mitochondrial Health Matters
Your mitochondria are the powerhouses of your cells, responsible for producing the energy (ATP) your body needs to heal, think, move, and thrive. When mitochondrial function is compromised—due to stress, aging, toxin exposure, or chronic illness—energy production declines, and symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, pain, and poor stress tolerance can set in.
Carnosine, the key ingredient in our Mitochondrial Wellness Repair formula, has been shown to:
Support mitochondrial function and energy metabolism
Reduce oxidative stress and glycation
Enhance recovery and resilience from stress
Improve physical and cognitive performance
Promote healthy aging at the cellular level

Dosing Instructions
For General Health Maintenance and Cellular Repair:
Take 1–2 tablets in the morning
Take 1–2 tablets in the evening
For Sympathetic Dominance / Significant Health Compromise (e.g., chronic stress, fatigue, burnout):
Take 2 tablets in the morning
Take 2 tablets at lunch
Take 2 tablets at dinner
Sleep Sensitivity Note:
If you experience sleep disturbances from the evening dose, move the dose earlier to late afternoon or early evening.
Monitoring and Follow-Up
We strongly recommend advanced heart rate variability (HRV) testing every 6–8 weeks while titrating or adjusting dosage. This helps track your progress in autonomic nervous system regulation (balancing fight-or-flight vs. rest-and-digest responses).
The Four Stages of Mitochondrial Recovery
Recovery is a process that unfolds in distinct stages. Most individuals begin to adapt to stress and restore autonomic balance within the first 3 months, though the timeline varies.
-
Activation Phase (3–4 weeks)
- Cellular signaling pathways are reawakened
- You may feel an initial uptick in symptoms as systems “turn back on”
-
Metabolic Shift / Recovery in Progress (2–6 weeks)
- Mitochondria begin repairing and energy pathways improve
- Mood, focus, and stamina start to stabilize
-
Transitional Phase / Reprogramming Correction (~3 weeks)
- Nervous system begins recalibrating
- HRV often shows positive shifts
-
Stabilization Phase (3 months+)
- Sympathetic and parasympathetic systems reach a new balance
- Improved stress tolerance and recovery
⚠️ Important Note for Immune-Challenged Individuals:
If you have a suppressed immune system or latent infections (e.g., Lyme, mold, viruses), symptoms may temporarily worsen during the Activation Phase. This is often a sign that the immune system is beginning to recognize and respond to previously hidden pathogens.
Medication Advisory
Because mitochondrial function affects nearly every system in the body, improvement may reduce your need for certain medications. If you are taking any of the following, we recommend medical supervision and a 30-day follow-up schedule:
- Thyroid medications
- Adrenal herbals or hormonal support
- Blood sugar or diabetic medications
- Blood pressure medications
- Antidepressants or psychiatric medications
- Any pharmaceutical drugs that affect metabolism or the nervous system
